Marbles are metamorphic rocks composed of fine grained, dense crystallized calcium carbonate (usually limestone), that can be bond to a high polish. Most well known is the French style but most laborious the Italian style and of course every artist can add his own imagination of producing final result, we can use oil based glazes but takes time to dry or acrylic but demands accuracy since acrylics dry much faster.
